Let’s Talk Bed Bugs.
Today’s local news reported Oklahoma City is now rated number nine in the nation for bed bug infestation. Over the next few days we will discuss practical ways to help control your environment to reduce your chances of infestation of bed bug and or controlling your bed bug infestation.
First, we would like to stress that beg bugs are not a social issue. The chances of one being infested with bed bug is probable no matter your income, where you live etc. Bed Bugs can be found in libraries, thrift shops, estate sales, hotels, public schools, churches, doctor’s offices, college
dorms, anywhere where the public has access. While bed bugs are not known to spread disease. Bed bugs can be an annoyance due to their bites cause itching and loss of sleep. Itching can lead to excessive scratching that can increase the chance of a secondary skin infection.
We here at Flatline Pest Control, Inc are a family owned business. While my husband Randy has been in the industry 35+ years we have been learning about the bed bug infestation here in the USA for the past ten years. As I have observed working in off market real estate on the east and west coast about the bed bug problems, Randy and I knew Oklahoma would start seeing the infestation. We have learned from the experience of those on the east and west coast what the cost and legal ramification can be expected.
